What to expect during a Sexual Assault Exam...
Above is a clip from the ER in Columbia, explaining what to expect if you become a victim of sexual assault and would like an exam performed. Of course, different hospitals may do things a little differently, but overall, this gives great information.

If you find yourself a victim of sexual assault and would like an advocate with you during your ER visit, please notify the nurse as soon as possible.  We have advocates that are here to help and bring comfort to you while you go through the exam process.
